Description
It can be difficult to machine or pocket soft, foam type materials. The soft material tends move or fold away from the cutting forces, often leaving a poor edge quality. Datron has developed a line of tools specifically for machining foam. The combination of cutting geometry with extremely sharp edges achieves high quality edges that present very well for your packaging materials.
Our triple fluted tools are better suited to material-specific applications where lower RPM and increased core strength may be needed. These long-life, micro-grain carbide tools are available in various cutting diameters and lengths, shank diameters, and geometries for specialty material applications.
