For machining copper, there are two types of tool designs available. A roughing end mill with serrations on the cutting edges assist with material removal and a smooth edge version for finishing. These tools have a special ground geometry specifically for machining copper. The tool is balanced and strong, producing minimal vibrations which translates into good surface finishes.

Our triple fluted tools are better suited to material-specific applications where lower RPM and increased core strength may be needed. These long-life, micro-grain carbide tools are available in various cutting diameters and lengths, shank diameters, and geometries for specialty material applications.
